How did you decide on this field? How did you get
hired?
My college roommate had interned in my current department when we were in college. When I moved to NYC with her, I had no job. She still kept in touch with people at the Firm and recommended me for a position. From hearing her experience during college, it had sounded like a job that would be great for me.
How does your Michigan experience help you in your job?

What are possible next steps for your career? Is
another degree required or recommended?
Assistant Manager of Legal Recruiting, Manager of Legal Recruiting, working in a career services office at a law school. At the moment, it doesn’t seem that any additional degree will be required.
What do you wish you had known as an undergraduate preparing
for your career?
Sometimes there are jobs out there that you might not even currently know exist that could be perfect for you. Also, don’t be afraid to use connections—many people get jobs that way.
