Pre-Law Services
Because…you don’t have to make all these decisions on your own!
The Career Center offers multiple resources and services to students
preparing for a career in law. A team of counselors specializing
in pre-law matters is available to assist students with:
- Conducting personal assessments
- Investigating and choosing a career
- Exploring and deciding on a major
- Identifying opportunities to obtain law-related exposure through
employment and volunteering
- Understanding timing and process of the law school application
- Building a file with reference letters
- Developing personal statements
- Researching law schools
- Evaluating multiple admission offers
Many of the services offered are on a one-on-one basis (counseling,
advising, and personal statement reviews), but opportunities for
group interactions are also available via programs, career fairs,
e-mail groups, etc.

can be made, depending on your needs and schedule.
