I’ve decided on a major, how does this translate into a career?
Congratulations! Your focus now should be to continue to learn
about yourself and gain more experiences regarding your interests.
Also, keep gaining skills — skills are what employers look
at in addition to your actual work experiences. Think about using
internships or job shadowing as a way to enhance skills and experience
life after UofM. In addition, start to think about ways you can
market your major — how can you promote what you are learning
and experiencing to an employer?
